the crops have been inspected by CROPCO, it is Bruce Agra Dehy’s
responsibility to harvest the crops. The forage is harvested by professional
custom operators CUSTO under a 2-cut system to take advantage of lower
protein levels in the alfalfa at different stages of maturity. This
results in higher yields per cut for farmers and an additional fertilizer
value for the next crop in the crop-rotation. The forage is then baled
and transported to the processing plant.
